So.
I am at work right now, listening to Harry Potter fight Mr. Voldermort in the background and catching up on some fantastic literature online.
I've become absolutely obsessed with a website called "Goodreads.com". It's really quite fun. You post all the books you've read and what you're reading and whatnot. You reads tons of other's reviews on the same books, blah blah blah.

So It's summer time. I'd hardly know, I've been working 5 days a week.
I think the only time I've taken off was to see my Father, Stepmum and sisters for 4 days. I really wished I had gotten to stay longer.
Also, Come September, My mum and I will be walking a 55Km walk. Should be a gas.
What to say, what to say.
Jamie had his burthday last Saturday, His Baby sister was due the day after but she still hasn't come! I did read on FB that she will be made to come today, no matter what she says. So she will be 20 years, 1 week younger than Jamie. He's Catching up on siblings with me!
I have 6 Little sisters!
He has 5 siblings.

Man, I need a creative spot so bad. When I lived at home, my creative spot was in my bedroom closet. I had a large computer set up in it, and a chair that was all big and twirly. I could sit there for hours drinking coffee and just spitting out poems, songs and bits of books. It really was the best. Our house is just so small now that there is no hope. The living room couch is a awful place for that, since the TV is right there saying "Watch me."

Jamie got accepted into VIU. He's going to be getting a BA, which will be his pre-med. In 4-5 years he'll be able to transfer to UBC and start his Medical Training. Woohoo. This will be a LONG HAUL!
I need to get my Ass in gear and figure out what I'll be doing with my life.
I really want to write novels, songs, whatnot.
I think I'd really enjoy teaching, but I just don't know.
I'm thinking I'll just suck it up and start a ECE or EA program, just to get myself started!

Ho-Hum. It's gorgeous out and people are in here, renting movies. I understand at the end of the day when there nothing better to do than sit down, cool down and watch a little telly...
But It's not even noon. Half these people are "Camping".
Awesome.

SOOOOO I cut my hair real short. The shortest It's ever been in my whole life.
It's an "inverted" bob, but the hair dresser did it in quite a long fashion. I was hoping for a bit more drastic, but I do like it.
The funnest thing though, Is after cutting it short, I got extensions that are as long as my hair was before. bahahah.
I go between real long hair and shortish hair day to day.
Nice and confusing. I wonder is people think there are two mes.

Chancey got another haircut. We went on a 5 hour walk and by the end of it, he was so tired he couldn't fight back as I shaved all his hair off. Diabolical!
He really is being a silly thing. Super Clingy and lovey. Also crying for me to cuddle him! ALWAYS! You'd think I had a child!
I do love him though, he's super fun.
We got him a Monkey that squeaks.
We tell him, "Go get Mr. Monkey!"
And he does, and squeaks it and gets all slobbery and happy.
Silly little thing.
Whenever we play outside, everybody comes. So it's me, Jamie, Chance and Fireball all running about the yard like fools. Chance chases his ball, Fireball chases Chance and runs up trees and stuff. It's really very funny.

Annyywho. I AM at work, so I'd better begin to act like it. I shall sign off now, pictures will be added soon.
Peace!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Happy sweet 16, little sister.
I love you.

What's Goin On?

So I just finished watching Food Inc.This movie... Is so... Disturbing.
Did you know that there is basically no seeds that are not genetically modified left? If there is any, The company that "owns" that type of seed, come after you!
Seriously though, watch the movie. It makes me feel yucky eat my lasagna.
I got my madonna pierced the day before yesterday.
The back of it keeps rubbing against my gums, it's making my gums raw and driving me mad. I'm seriously hoping that when I get the stud down-sized, it wont rub anymore. Otherwise I'll end up taking it out!Gosh. It hurt more than any of my other piercings getting it done. The guy tried to stick the needle through 3 times, and kept saying "It's stuck on something, but I don't know what!"
Yeah, It was stuck on my Face.
He finally just pushed it through the last layer of my mouth and I swore loudly, with my baby sister looking like she was going to pass out in the corner.
Luckily she got her piercing before me, so watching mine done didn't scare her to bad.
She got her belly button pierced... through the bottom of her belly button since she already has the top. It looks very cool.

Anyways, I gave Chance the most embarrassing haircut the other day. He's not very impressed. It's all baldy and choppy, and looks ultra silly. Also yesterday, Chance went on a little play date with a little Peking-hua hua. They where really cute, Rocky (peking-hua hua) kept chasing Chance around screaming at him.

Holy shit. So On the news right now, It was showing a man on the ground with a bunch of cops standing around him yelling stupid things like "I'm going to kick the mexican piss out of you, do you feel me homey?"-claps- Awesome Cops, very good. Come on Seattle, look at who's "protecting" you're city!!!
Now my boyfriend is looking up other police brutality. Effin. Sick.
Here's one of some cop tazering a 13 year old kid for skate boarding! They road from town to town, and where ever they ran out of gas, or broke down, they would stay. They would find work and work untill they had enough money to carry on. Although I'm sure it was a difficult path at sometimes, I envy their way of life. My mother later told me stories of cold nights, sitting in cafe's drinking coffee and sharing soup. I Was Born on a Island. Yes indeed. My Father was at sea and Dreamed I was being born. Against the captian's wishes, the boat was turned towards sea, traveled through the night's stormy waters and docked outside the city my mother had been driven to (the closest city). He reached the hospital, asked a nurse for our room number, and ran inside just before the wonder of my birth. Thus, I was named after the bay my father had the dream in.I was a Tong-Baby. And Pre-mature. But, very alive, and very well.My Father, Mother and our Dog all moved into our travel trailer. Pictures and Stories tell me it was Silver. We didn't stay long at this location, and soon moved into; An apartment, a large white tent on the beach (of a lake), and numerous other places. Eventually, we found our way into a small red-painted 70's school bus. Most of my early memories take place in this bus. The inside was all ripped out, expect for the driver's seat (with a large foot-print as the gas pedal). Put in was a table, a fridge, some chairs, a bed in the back - seperated by a built in wall and door, (above the bed in the back was a loft-I'm sure for storage when it was a school bus, but it served for my bed), a small stove and sink, a TV, a small built in bathroom and some other regular-person nessecities. After Falling out of my loft more than once and landing on my parent's bed, I began to sleep with them. On Christmas, our 1 foot christmas tree lived on our kitchen table, next to the tiny TV. Our Traveling home moved to a few places, ones that included the woods (where we had our pet bambi (who's mother unfortunatly passed away-hence bambi moving in with us) who nursed from our dog who'd just had a litter of puppies), Different Camp sites, And finally a scrap Yard in a tiny, hot interior town. The majority of my toddler-hood memories take place here, walking about through old scrap and running down to the caretaker's house for a hello. It was probably about this age I started my love afair with cartoons, becuase I have a very vivid memory of arguing over the television with my Father - Him pro-starwars, me pro- cartoons. This Argument resulted in the TV out the window and no TV for quite a while afterwards. When I was three, My mother became Preggers. Endlessly, my father and I would argue over what sex the baby would be. Me pro-girl, my dad, pro-boy. We moved from our Bus and Into our first house, in a even smaller, hotter town. It was two stories, had three bathrooms, 3 bedrooms and a huge basement which served as my father's studio. My sister was born in the summer after my 4th birthday, and was instantly the house hold sugar high. She still is. My father worked carving and fishing during my childhood, our house always smelled like wood shavings and smoke from the smoke house in our backyard. We had a HUGE garden, with every veggie a four year old could possibly eat. When my sister turned 3, our little family broke up, my mother, sister and I stayed in out house, later also housing my mother's boyfriend and his two son's. My father re-married (sort of) and had 4 more childern (5th on the way).
My mother, Sister and myself moved far away to a little island. Lived on the beach and went on many hikes. At one point in my life, a dog we owned brought home a littler of kittens, too small to eat or know how to pee. Their mother was trapped and taken away, and the kittens left to die. They where wild. When the kittens first learned how to see, we where the first things they saw. They thought the dog was their mum (A very rough mum). We fed them with suringes, and had to wipe them to make them poo or pee. Unfortunatly, 2 died within months, having serious stomach complications from being alone with no food for 3 days. The other two moved to the Island with us, one was hit by a car as an adult, and the other lives to this day, happily foot obsessed and doesnt know how to meow. He's handsome.
I aspire to be on the road like my parents (and myself as a child) once did. I would like to see the world for all it's worth. I would like to travel to the depth of the world, staying in the forgotten towns, living with the real people. Hopefully within the next couple years I'll move to maybe Japan and teach english. I'd like to move to Greece and soak in some of my heritage. Maybe Go to Ireland and live in a small cottage. Go to a roaring pub every thrusday and play eccentric music. Have a bull dog named Le Beouf. There's a endless possiblity of the things I can accomplish!
As a child I wanted to be a singer. Later this love grew to Drama. Now my loves include Acting, Singing and Writting. I've had one song published, one song of my thoughts published and I'm writting a novel. Over the past ten years, I've participated in many local plays and alot of high-school plays. In the last two years, I've stopped. I'm so ready to start acting again - I miss the people.

That's it, I'm Kelsey. Nice to meet you.
But, If you're a pervo, Go away.

The Curious Case of Over-Done Movies.

The ultimate downfall of working in a video store :"So... What's Good?" Errr.... Come on people! I can go ahead and tell you what I like, but that sure has heck doesnt mean you're going to like it!!! And even if I do give a suggestion, 9 times out of 10, the response is "Uhhh, no. I don't want to see that.". Right. Okay. Look for yourself. But What's really annoying to me right now - The constant stream of the same movies being pumped out. Same story different names. Come on, how Daft are we? Blood on the Flat Tracks - Whip it. Book of Eli - The Road. Driven to Kill - Taken. Always one low-rate movie, and one block buster. Or the case of multipal movies all with the same theme. How many times can we watch the same thing over and over? Well, I can't. And so, I'm a terriable employee to the customers becuase I didn't spend my two days off this week watching some crap movie just so I can tell you if it's "Good" or not. Alright. So, There's a fella who would like to put me on his broadcast. Make me an offical Video Store girl, Just log on and I'll tell you all about the latest new releases! At first I thought it was a great idea. But as time is slugging by, and I still havent gone into the studio, Im starting to hate the idea. I don't have time as it is! But who knows. Maybe some camara time is just what I need.

uugh.

OKAY!!!

FINALLY, was able to get my blog back!! Beautiful White Circas with amazing arch support.
It cost him 100.76 dollars.
hurray.
We went to ValuVillage and i grab two new books, one of them being a Serindepity book that i dont have!
I also got a new ring, i think its jade.
Aunty Brenda got me a card, and gave me my choice out of her old jewlery box for my Grad present, I got three amazing looking rings and a beautiful amber necklas prendant. It's all Folk down here.
Then again, the resturant (more like a bar really), was ment for older people, like 20+.
Either way it was fun.
On Friday we finally picked. We drove hours and hours through the canyon, eating baked goodies. Our First night was spent in Golden, British Columbia. It was the most expensive campsite for the smallest amount of room. We must have been paying for the amount of mousqitos, becuase there was a hell of alot of them. We set up camp and walked into town. Golden is a pretty run down little place, with not a whole lot to offer. The night was extreemely cold. From Golden the next morning, we went straight for Drumheller. The drive was hot and long, and the road really straight. I believe Jamie loved this. We drove past a big farm and there was a moose... Just standing there eating and stuff. Jamie had a coniption. In Drumheller we got the most expensive campsite yet. For 2 nights it cost us nearly $60. The firggen place was a petting zoo too, aside from the fact that you where NOT SUPPOSE TO TOUCH THE BUNNIES.
Mom- It was the same place we stayed when we went to Drumheller.
The campsite was about the same size as our garden outback...but it was a close walk into town and thats all that matters.
So apparently we're "of age" in alberta...so scratch and wins where a YES. Also there was a Liquidation world (which is going out of buissness). We got a couple of Champagin glasses and got a tiny little one person bottle of Icewine! There was a shopping cart out front of the L world that was "Fill your bag for a dollar" of makeup. So Jamie and Granny, Get prepared.
The Second day in Drumheller we went to the museum, which only took us a few hours, but unfortunatly we paid for two nights, so we had to stay. That was okay.
From Drumheller, we drove to Edmonton and checked out the West Ed mall. It took us three hours to walk the intire thing. We didnt really do much there except for drink bubble tea and look in the china market. At 8:30, we left and drove towards red deer, hoping to find camping. Everything was full. By 12:30 am, we had checked out every motel in Red deer for a place to be, but everywhere was also full (just like jesus' mummy and dad, right? ..kidding) Anyways, the only place was a shabby little motel that the "lady" (couple of bored teens) wanted "99.99 plus tax". I told her id be right back and took off. Long and the short of it is, we spent the night with the seats reclined in a Walmart parking lot. Cozy. Not. I washed my face and brushed my teeth in the Walmart public bathroom in the morning. (hahaha).
We left Red deer early, and made a run for the BC border, (which for some reason i keep calling "canada", like Alberta just isnt) ((having a Jamie coutts moment? Alaska?)).
We drank coffee and "Screamers" (icecream and slurpees) and only stopped a trillion times to go pee. We stopped in revelstoke (where was the really good salad?) and i tried calling home, for the trillionth time. But, alas, no answer.
That night we found ourselves right back at my dad's house. Grandma was there, and invited jamie and i to go berry picking with her this week. I made a trading offer with Dad, and although he already gave us some smoked salmon, for some berries, mom your going to get a couple big spring (hurray for you!).
So we only stayed a day (for Willow's number 7..(Jamie Coutts, you, me and jamie jean all got her Crazy frog hit's CD, she loves it.)) and then left this morning 11. Now we're in Williams lake, just finished a super dinner and after we cleaned the car and the cooler, which leads us to this point now. For tomorrow we will depart off to prince george and pick us some huckelberries!
Alrighty!!!

Kaitlin: Next time we go, YOURE COMING, you NEED to see Drumheller's Dino-saurss!!

picturesss

<img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; Dad kept on telling us he had a rattlesnake in the freezer and i kept telling him he was bullshitting me, but eventually curiosity overtook me and i had to look.
There is a freaking huge, frozen, rattle snake in my father's deepfreeze. hahah
Apparently rattlesnakes have weird dragon-like scales that feel very weird.
Fara and i canned a wack load of half smoked fish (delicious) and if i go back, we might do peaches too.
We went to a tattoo paralor and fara got a beautiful hummingbird, ill upload a picture when i get a chance.
We went to Kamloopa powwow and stayed pretty darn late, watched a little dancing and looked at lots of jewlery.
All those kids are SO BIG! i cannot believe how big Eliza is (the youngest), she walking around and talking and everything. Ive got such a softspot for Bernadette, she loves cuddles and shes so caring. Willow is ever growing and looks soo much like fara, and Leila is taking after jamie. She loves fashion.
I think it was a bit of the shock to the system for jamie in that environment. Its very different than anywhere else we've ever been together. Fara Jamie and i stayed up almost to 5 one night under the stars and sitting in a broke down truck talking.
I also went to the midnight release of the final stephanie meyer vampire book. There was people dressed up and EVERYTHING. unfortunatly, after i bought it for 25 bucks, i saw it at cosco for 13.
After my father's house, we came straight to Jamie's Grandparent's. Theyre over-giving and love jamie like there's no tomarrow. Jamie's Grama loves bragging about how i clean up after myself to the relatives, its really funny. We really are getting spoiled rotten here. Jamie has like 3 new outfits and i have 3 or 4 new shirts. i cant even begin with everything theyve done for us here. Its very homey and reminds me of my gramas house. We sit on the porch at night and the view is amazing. We've been to kamloops a couple times, i met jamie's uncle (who looks alot like jamie's dad), and weve been to a family birthday party and a bbq to congratulate jamie's cousin in going to vet school. Jamies Family is really nice.
The Dogs are so funny, their oldest, Elexa looks a lot like sandy, but shes much older. Same kind of dog. Terrier poodle.
We're leaving tomarrow and going to DRUMHELLER! hurray!!! Neither jamie nor i have been there for yearrssss! Im pretty excited.
Anyways, i better get off the computer, ill go more into detail when i have more time.
LOVE AND KISSES!!

Day 2- july 28th

Bright and Early start again! Up at 8, Gone by 9ish! Tried calling my mother, but no pick up. (hurray Skype!)

Our Breakfast included more granola bars, and coffee for me from yale. Jamie got pop. We held our breath through every tunnel (yaye for saftey), and made it in one piece at Hell's Gate., me still pointing and ranting on like a mad woman. I think jamie thinks its a little unnessassry, some of the things i tell him, (like where the best french onion soup EVER was before it so TRAGICALLY burned down) but hes a got sport anyways. Hells Gate has changed alot, but alot is the same too. The man at the front desk has worked there for 30 years and asked me why on earth we moved from boston bar to the island (shall i count the ways?). Jamie really got a kick out of the tram, but didnt get to see the "wild flamingos" or the million and 1 "goodbye" signs. We got wonderful fudge and pretended to gold mine. You cant access the roof anymore ontop the resturant wich really made me sad. And the Resturant is get your food from the counter now! I think the Hell's Angels from Quebec are following us becuase we saw them on the hwy in vancouver and then at hells gate! They seemed to be enjoying themselves with their assless chaps and icecream cones. After Hells gate we continued on to Boston Bar where we "explored" the town. I pointed out nearly everything. We drove down to north bend and checked out the old elementry. It just seems like the whole place is 100 years in the past. When i was little, our toys where all holla-hoops and skipping rops (Both prolly Original from the school itself). I got all Nostalgic and silly. It really is a creepy looking place. Photoshoot for sure. Across the street there where a couple of real old looking gas tanks not hooked up to anything on the grass. Strange, but really neat looking. Everything was just so weird to me, like a dream. I got Jamie to pull up in front of the old house and one of margarets little ones was playing in the yard with a huge pole. All the windows where blocked up with silver sheets and the roses where gone, but other than that it seems the same.

They moved the car ferry from infront of the community hall and put it in that little park thing across from the Esso (now called "Young's"). It's all Touristy looking, like a place to have your picture taken. Our camping site in anderson's was BEAUTIFUL! And less expensive than the hope one for wayy bigger. The trees where cut down on the far side of the site so we could see the river raging by and the railway (NOW THATS A TRAIN). The site was all grassy, with a rock fire pit. Firewood was free anndd of course theres the creek. We never went swimming. Around the campsite, theres Choke cherries, saskatoon berries, salmon berries, and big beautiful red cherry , apple and plum trees. Jamie wants to go down to the Okanogan for peaches and other treats. Did i mention there where showers?

For dinner that Night we cooked up some rice on the goodole camp stove.. But it sort of ended up a "rice soup". We also had hotdogs with mayo and cheese. After dinner we sat around the fiore for a good couple hours and invented "FIRE STRUDELS!". again we got to bed EARLY.

Day 1-july 27th

Sunday morning we left "bright and early"
(about 8:30ish) to catch the ten ferry. The idea was to go to Staples and Canadain Tire AND the dollar store, but we're pretty slow and prolly would have missed the boat. We made ferry. On the Ferry Jamie kicked my butt at crazy 8s (not). Our Boat was huge and fancy. It had like..6 public decks. Jamie did the "yay" dance when we got to the other side, and only tried to murder us once! (thats a joke)

As soon as we hit chilliwak, we hit up staples for water and pens then the dollar store for our rope, lighter dealy, and can opener. After that we found superstore and went grocery shopping. Our cooler now contains: Water, ice, processed cheese, mayo, hotdogs, toster strudels (?!), marshmellows, "i cant believe its not butter", hot dog buns (half price!), tuna, fruit cocktails in a can, chicken noodle and veggi soup, trail mix (with smarties!), two boxes of "granola bars" (which i dont think either have granola in them), camomile tea, juice mixes, milk and a wack load of "side kicks".

Afterwards we ate WAY more than we where suppose to at "all you can eat sushi". We just KEPT checking and checking and checking off the boxes. When it came to the table, jamie and i where more than stunned. Then it just kept coming and coming and coming...

(oops, we did sushi first then superstore)

(and also, there was a glorious little mouse scurrying around in the dollar giant...yum.)

After Shopping, we headed straight to hope. As soon as we got into town i was pointing left and right and jabbering like a crazy woman. Right in the middle of town, theres a camp ground where my mommy and daddy lived when i was a wee tot. You can see DQ across the street from the camp sites. hawhaw. While i was getting out site, i was talking to mr. manager who recognized my name and asked if i where "jay's kid". He wasnt around when they lived there, but he knew who dad was anyways, and asked if fara was still singing, i offerd him to listen to her new cd but he didnt seem to be jumping out of his seat. (Then again, he was a rather large fellow...)

We walked across the highway and around town. I showed jamie about a trillion places, including the local park where theres a little fountain where when i was little, i was CONVINCED it was the garden of eden. sadly, now its a swampy area with broken smirnoff bottles. (smells like pee too). Jamie and i headed back to camp and had a nutricous meal of marshmallows and tea. After a few hours at camp it became apparent that we should not have chose such a dusty site. Jamie and i where both yellowy from the dirt...It was pretty Grimy feeling. We made him a "gummy-bear pool-party" chocolate cake. It was fun. Anyways, He got a neat camping set that has a tent and two sleeping bags and two chairs and a cooler. We set it up in the back yard, then slept in it last night. It was deathly hot in the morning. If i could figure out how to properaly positition these pictures, id be so happy.
Jamie got: Scrubs, A.I, a apron :D, speakers, a camp set, a camp free in b.c book and some shaving utensils. haha. Also, i told him id pay for half his tattoo...
Untill next!

Jamie's Birthday Eve!

Hurray!
